Meet the CIPS Ontario Board:


Andrew Palmer, I.S.P. (President)

Andrew Palmer is a highly qualified, results-driven professional with extensive experience across blockchain, financial institutions, information technology, and the public sector. He specializes in data governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic program implementation, with a proven ability to navigate complex operational and regulatory environments.

Andrew brings broad expertise in information technology, data management and governance, policy development, compliance, process improvement, and quality assurance. He is recognized for delivering strategic solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen organizational performance, and support informed decision-making through analysis and regulatory reporting.

In addition to his professional expertise, Andrew is passionate about motivating and supporting others through speaking engagements and volunteer leadership. He is known for his collaborative approach, commitment to innovation, and focus on creating meaningful organizational and community impact.


Paul Madden (Treasurer & Past President)

Paul Madden is an information systems executive with more than 20 years of experience leading global IT operations, enterprise applications, and information security teams. Paul partners with executive and regional leaders to align technology strategy with business goals, strengthen cybersecurity and compliance, and deliver reliable technology services at global scale.

Paul’s experience includes IT strategy, financial planning, governance, risk management, vendor oversight, privacy, business continuity, and post-merger integration. He has led global ISO 27001 certification, supported customer contract negotiations involving security and data protection terms, and managed technology integration across multiple acquisitions.


Maham Khalid (Vice President)

Maham Khalid is the Founder of Revohub and currently serves as the Vice President at CIPS Ontario, working at the intersection of technology, talent, and workforce transformation.

She is recognized for her leadership in bridging the gap between industry needs and talent capability, driving conversations on AI, skills, and global competitiveness. Through her work, she brings together cross-sector stakeholders to rethink how we prepare individuals and organizations for the future of work.



Hans G. Bathija, BA FBCS FCIPS SMIEEE (Director)

Hans has served on the CIPS Ontario Board of Directors since 2022. He has a long and distinguished career in numerous senior Information Technology leadership roles in the public and private sectors, from start-ups to multinational corporations and governments. As President of BathijaTan for over 25 years Hans has been delivering pioneering, enterprise, critical & complex IS/IT initiatives, working with companies such as Amex, BMO, Canada Life, CIBC, EDS, Equifax, IBM, Loblaws, Oracle, RBC, Reuters, SAS, Scotiabank, Shadow Factory, Sun Microsystems, Xerox and with the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario, City of Toronto, and Payments Canada.

He is a Fellow of CIPS, BCS The Chartered Institute of IT, and Tortora Brayda Institute for AI & Cybersecurity, as well as a Sr. Member of IEEE. He is the Chair of ACM SIGGRAPH Toronto Chapter, Founder/Chair of the International IP Commercialization Toronto Chapter, member representative for Canada on IFIP TC 12 WG12.13 AI for Global Security, an advisor with the KnowledgeFlow Cybersafety Foundation, and a member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.


Stephen Fabeyo, D.Sc., I.S.P. (Director)

Stephen Fabeyo, D.Sc., I.S.P., serves on the CIPS Ontario Board as a Director and as a member of the CIPS National Certification Review Committee.

Professionally, he is a Senior Analytics Engineer with 12+ years owning the full data stack from ingestion to insight, delivering governed, compliance-grade analytics in healthcare, fintech, banking, and global supply chains. He holds a Doctor of Science in Information Technology, with peer-reviewed research on Responsible and Explainable AI, and serves as a peer reviewer for the IACIS Issues in Information Systems journal.


Nicole Heaton I.S.P., ITCP (Director)

With an over 20-year passion for IT, Nicole has had progressive positions in IT from technical support in 2000 to Team Leader in 2004 and finally moving into security in 2006. With 14 of those years in Security Nicole has worked on many enterprise scale security projects including modernizing networks, to providing leading edge cyber security services in GRC, IR, DR and BCP. She has experienced various verticals including healthcare, consulting and global real estate.

She has accomplished many designations and certifications to continue to expand her knowledge in Governance, Risk, Compliance and Privacy. Nicole is wrapping up a Masters in Science with a focus in Information Security, a lifelong accomplishment.


Zahid Junejo (National Representative)

Zahid Junejo is a finance and strategy professional with deep experience in financial leadership, governance, and organizational advisory. He works closely with businesses to strengthen financial frameworks, enhance operational discipline, and align strategy with sustainable growth.

Zahid’s expertise spans financial planning, risk management, and helping organizations build the structures required to scale effectively in complex and evolving environments.




Scolastica Kamau (Director)

Scolastica Kamau is an accomplished and detail-oriented professional with over 10 years of experience.

She has proven knowledge of customer retention, strategic business planning and vendor sourcing. Frequently praised as focused by peers, she can be relied upon to help companies achieve their goals.





Stanley U. Osula, I.S.P. (Director)

Stanley is an accomplished IT professional with 15+ years of experience leading enterprise‑level technology operations. He brings a leadership approach grounded in operational excellence, user‑focused service, and technical expertise.

Stanley manages a diverse technology environment of over 6,000 users, ensuring secure, efficient, and high‑performing systems across Microsoft, Google, and Apple platforms as an Administrator. He is skilled at guiding teams, mentoring staff, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. His leadership is defined by clear communication, collaborative problem‑solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional IT experiences across the organization.


Raheel Aslam Qureshi (Director)

Raheel is Director Sales & Partnership at InnovaShiftX.  He is an accomplished business and client strategy professional with over 10+ years of experience driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and delivering operational excellence across competitive markets. His leadership approach is grounded in structured, merit-based growth, accountability, and measurable business outcomes.

Raheel has executive expertise in strategic leadership, revenue growth, and business development, with a focus on market expansion and strengthening client and stakeholder relationships, alongside driving operational efficiency, process optimization, and disciplined execution.


Liz Stacey (Secretary)

Liz Stacey has been a programmer for 40+ years for a number of different companies. She ran her own company, writing software for the Ministry of Transportation on WHIMS and Industrial Hygiene. There were 14 employees, which she eventually closed and moved into teaching.

Liz is currently a Professor at Conestoga College teaching programming, database and generating active websites. Her focus is to support Computer Programmer and Analyst (CPA), Computer Programmer (CP), which are 3- and 2-year Diploma Programs at Conestoga College.
